I'll tell you what I want.
A CNC machine! and some drill bits for plastics.
But with costs being what they are, I figured I'd build something that might work similarly, so I'll be posting pictures of what I build close to the holidays in another thread. It'll be cool, It'll be cheap, I'll show how to build it, and how it works.
In a nutshell, it will be a tool with which I'll trace a outline of my designs on one table of the tool, and the other will duplicate my drawing at 1/4 the scale using a dremel w/cutting attachment.
For materials, I'll be usng a 6 pack of cutting boards from samsclub, some salvaged steel pipe, some screen door or skate bearings, and some assorted washers, nuts and bolts. My wife is going to think I've gone nuts. You probably will too, until it starts taking shape and my master plan come to light. I figure it will run me under $200.
Anyway. What do you want for Christmas?
