Whoa there my friend. come on, no need to be hostile. I have to admit being hestiant about such products myself, but it does look cool. Just take it easy or I gonna have to edit those flames.

Jason pulls out the mighty edit command! and Lo! there was silence.

no, it has an alternate keyboard layout. its called dvorak.. its not like qwerty.

in that picture it has the keys set up in qwerty.. you can hit a toggle on there and it switches to dvorak. its hardwired for both ... no software conversion.

its hard to explain because it looks like the keys are changed anyway..but its not those keys..its all the letters.. its a different typing format.

looks like this:

http://www.mwbrooks.com/dvorak/layout.html

why you ask? the most used keys are on the home row there is much less finger movement, and strain. qwerty was designed for typewriters to reduce hardware malfunction by spreading out the most used keys. i have gotten my wpm up by about 10 and i've been using it for just a few months!

its easy to switch between both the way i have it set up ( alt+shift )

sorry for the ramble but i love dvorak!

what exactly is the key layout for dvorak?

that picture you showed me doesnt seem to have much difference than a normal qwerty keyboard except its split in the center and the backspace key is moved to center top
