i did it plenty of times when i had to fill up HDD intentionally to test for some softwares when i was working at Rockwell Software

filled up a 20 GB HDD on a kayak dual Xeon server
windows was screaming to delete files
lol

someone at work made an application that writes 0s and 1s in a text file
making a humongus text file which fills up the hdd

my 120GB seagate 8mb ata100 drive is half full

i expect it to be 80% full in a few more month
i try to delete things i dont need

ive had my old 120 gb hard drive and i have only used like 45%, even with a p2p music program and 4 pc games. got the games take up 35% though

I have a 60 and a 187 (paid for 200 ) 100 gigs to linux which im not even touching....

still hard to fill it up
