Major set back today. The OCZ Powerstream power supply does not work.

Getting an RMA for it. If successful, I'll sell it on eBay before I put one back in a system.

Any suggestions on a kick ass power supply are welcome.

I think I'm going to go with the Ultra 500 XConnect. I like the modular design and most of all, I can pick one up at the local CompUSA.

Picked up an Ultra Xconnect PSU today and recieved RMA info for the bad Powerstream.

Also, I ordered a fan controller from FrozenCPU.

I should get the bulk of the system built tonight and tomorrow and hopfully have some detailed pics up this weekend.

I finally have all the major components in now. The only thing left is the UV lighting and fan bus controller that should arrive early next week.

I forgot to put the temp probe on CPU Water Block tonight but I'll fix that tomorrow.

I have some pics that I'll get up later after I transfer them off my camera.

So far, I'm very pleased. It's looking real good!

The first thing I wanted to do when preparing the case was to sleeve the front panel connectors. Most people overlook this but total time to sleeve was ten minutes and the results are well worth the effort.

The white cables in the first pic are for the front panel USB and headphones and mic out. I thought about just cutting them off but decided I might want to use them some day so I just tied them up.

The green and white wires are for the front panel power button. This posed a small problem. The Koolance system connects to this and with an adapter plugs into the motherboard. This is a safety feature that will automatically shut the system down if the pumps fail.
