Guess I'm the only guy around that listens to country huh? I listen to other stuff to, but I can't get into rap. How many people can sing about slappin' yo 'ho and icin' a pig and call it a new song. 'Course if anything is repetative it's old country. My wife left with my best friend and ran over my dog when she stole my pickup truck. Guess it's all good dependin' on what ya like 'eh?

rap isn't all about the singing and the music... u gotta feel what the artist is tryin to say. also how good the lyrics are of a rap artist.

I just never got it. But then again I'm from a redneck town of two-hundred people and 800 cattle. I dont' "go cruisin' in 5.0" I go muddin' in a four-wheel-drive pickup. Diffrent style's of life do lead to diffrent taste.

You both have a point. All songs have some story or moral to connect to them. I cant really judge any music that i havent listened to, so i am not going to comment on rap or country. But what i have heard and will always hear is rock. This kinda music i like because it pumps you up and gets your adrenaline pumping no matter what mood you're in. ROCK ON!!!

Yeah, they use a DMX sound track in Gone in 60 Seconds. And you know that that movie will always have your heard pumping and that song ties in exactly with the theme.
