well, here (U.S.) alot of tech jobs are going overseas. I've always wondered if there's more IT opportunity in CA.

oooooo yes there is quite a bit of opportunity here in Canada.... Its in quite high demand especially for anybody with technical training/certification.....

REEALY

here's what I have so far

Reasons to move:
Job Guaranteed (soon I'm going to have A+, Network+, MCSA)
Get far (far) away from family
heard people are nicer in Canada (stereotype maybe?)
possibly meet cherry
possibly meet other forum members

Reasons not to move:
Long trip back home for major holidays
Adapt to new money system
Cold
certain online hardware sites won't deliver to CA


I might move in a year or so. Main thing is the job. High demand sounds goood

ya.....if u have MCSA a friend of mine would hire ya for about 20$ an hour or so........ also...... its not that cold..... in fact where I live its pretty mild..... people ARE definitely nicer up here...... don't forget about the MAJOR thing of meeting me

it would be nice to already have a friend (maybe more who knows) if I move there.

of course coming back home would be a pain. I live in Texas, (as I said, FAR far away)
