XM is perfectly legal. They have licenses to broadcast all of that music. Just like any other radio station.

Xm is legal, but since the device saves the music, I really doubt it is.. you pay xm to listen to the music, like radio, but not to save it..


seriously, I bet it violates some law, if not the DMCA

that has already been settled in the courts, but this is a totally different airwave/infrastructure... i dunno if the precedent holds....
