yeah i had one, but my friend decided to downgrade and i didn't have a use for it anymore.. so i own my name.. but i dont have anything worth hosting anymore, nor the server/bandwidth for hosting anyway... thats all

they work great tho, and with the client you can have your FQD act like a dynamic and have subdomains of your own that are dynamic on different machines.. .it's quite nice

I use both godaddy and 1and1. Godaddy is excellent with tech support for managing your domains. I've called them on many occasions and got results very quick. 1and1 however has the worst support I've ever encountered for domain support but has good prices and excellent tools for managing your site.

For domain management go with godaddy. For web site management and creation, go with 1and1. 1and1's hosting plus the free stuff they give you can't be beat. I got NetObject Fusion 8 for free from them.

yeah, i don't really need any site management or hosting as i will be designing it myself and hosting with a friend of mine. so does godady have any subdomain with their domains? i can't seem to find where they even mention subdomains on their website.
