you say that now. Peer pressure is such a b a s t a r d ! Besides drinking helps to keep your immune system up. You might want to consider it so you won't get mono again.
MIK3 and succumbing to peer pressure don't go together... He's too confident/arrogant/self-assured to feel that he needs to do that to fit in. But, ouch, MIK3, people can have some and still respect their body!

And to this I concur as well. I have a feeling the person who I replied that to meant to be a drinker rather than have the occasional good time. Huge difference, sorry I didn't make that clear. And for whoever said the dumb comments on peer pressure, haha, people who fall to that are of the weakest form. They deserve to go through the torcher of bad decisions if they fall to peer pressure. And then the other stupid comment about getting mono again? Highly unlikely man. The likelyhood of getting Mono a second time is very minimal. You create an immunity to it once you have gone through it.

God I love getting my word out BTW. Welcome back Vee_Ess

come on you WILL succumb to peer pressure and you will become the weakest form as you put it. It might not be alcohol but you will do something because of peer pressure. IT is inevitable. You can respect your body and still drink. Just don't become an alcoholic. I know a guy who runs marathons as a hobby and he is the biggest drinker that I know. Now Id stay away from beer since it is disgusting but Smirnoff, now thats a freaking good drink. You are a church goer aren't you?

Trust me when I say I know MIK3 better than anybody, we've lived next door literally all our lives and he's been my best friend just as long. I've seen him in damn tough situations and he doesn't even give a moment to thinking about giving in. He just get's the "WTF? You've got to be kidding, idiot..." look on his face because he doesn't care what others think. That's why he's respected.

Smirnoff's alright, but I personally would go for Bacardi or Becks over that any day.

Ah, see, you know me not. I really wouldn't speak for people in that fassion, especially myself. I have never, nor will ever succumb to peer pressure. I'm worry free in knowing that because like previously state, only the weakest do succumb, and frankly I know I am not weak or pathetic or any of the above. I'm quite capable of making all of my decisions in their entirety. To sway me in a certain direction with out me entirely and undoubtedly wanting to, would compare to the likelyhood of Jason425 posting once a day...

And for the record, I haven't attended church in over 7 years.

riiiiight, you must understand peer pressure isn't just about doing something illegally. Ya I agree if you give in peer pressure to do lets say crack then Id say you were weak too. Id bet 5 bux that you will give in (if you haven't already) when it comes to having sex, saying vulgar words, disliking someone for no reason but because everyone else is, breaking curfew, not listening to parents, etc. The list goes on and on.

no peer pressure is this: "hey man, smoke this joint with us. no?! you wussy. man you're a wuss!" - then you smoke it.

or, by taking your examples: "haha! you're a virgin!! haha, you're never gonna get laid!" - then you forget all your personal morals and bang the next chick you date.

or you feel dumb because all of the people you know cuss, so you start to do it too. makes you feel more like an insider, less like the outcast. makes you think you sound cool or grown up, but nothing is more immature than somone who cusses every other word.

blah, just because you we're a follower in middle school, doesn't mean everyone is/was. yeah, i admit that i did cuss when i was in high school, and broke curfew (but you can't really call that peer pressure, call it raging hormone pressure ). but the first time (and last time) i drank was of my own choosing. not at a party, not with anyone else. wanted to see what it was all about, and it wasn't worth my time, money, or my liver.
