Could you still use it after that? I imagine it probably fried the 110V switch inside. (If it is broken, you could probably fix it if you can find the burnt components and swap with a lesser PSU)

sometimes there is a jmp for cmos battery, external or
internal, should be on internal.

Also if you tell os which MB it is we could have a look
at layout.

I've passed on all the great suggestions here but have yet to hear anything back from this individual.

Gonna have to put this one in the X files if'n I don't hear back from him.

The suspense is killing me.

I also find it annoying/aggrevating (whatever the word is) when there is no follow through...You never know if you were of any help or not.

Agreed,

I felt like we've been left hangin, sorry guys. I just passed it on for some help from my brethrin.

See what we sometimes get for helpin? Worth it aint it  ;D for the ones that do get helped.

The ones that don't respond, well chalk em up for practice.

Hey, it isn't a bit your fault...Just offered us a challenge, which I am sure most of enjoyed. And you are right about the other part, it is worth helping for the ones whom we know we have helped.
