Just remember you get what you pay for. I'll spend a little more to get a better brand of CD-R. I try to steer clear of Hi-Val and Super-Brand or the "great" durabrand. If they can't even come up with a good name how good is the cd's gonna be. I prefer to be able to truse it "should" work. Just my $0.02

I use HiVal and it works fine on my burners. I don't have any coasters w/ usnig HiVal
