Good Cheap case light.

Looks like LED to me...But if U can prove it's not, I'l stand corrected.

I really don't have any idea what it is...I haven't opened the scanner to see if it is a LED or something else. Until U can tell me what it is, I stick to LEDs U'r Evilness.

my dad is right here with me, he worked in microtek for 6 years

charge coupled device, it's not the one that provides the light, its a light receptor lots of it, where's the light emitter?

LED in a different packaging? I'm not sure about it.
