Why are we still using win98?

Some of us aren't lucky enough to have the cash to splurge out on new equipment all the time and have to get our stuff second and third hand, i'm grateful to be able to get on the net at all at home, a lot of my friends can't. So when a big opperating company decides that it won't support these old systems, the rich users don't care, but neither do we, antiquated it may be, but i paid a lot less for it thatn you have and can still read all the same stuff on the net, i just haven't got a shiny case and will carry on enjoying half life when you are happilly playing away at its sequal in the knowledge that your not having any more fun than me!!!

wow.. i wish i hadn't read that pessimistic crap from petec.. unless you live in the ghetto in chicago, i doubt that's the way you and your "Friends" are.. just because you work at mcdonalds doesn't mean you can make fun of people who have newer stuff..

Outch....Actually you can get XP Pro for $142. That's not much more than 98.
