No offense or anything, but being valedictorian and getting straight A's doesn't mean a whole lot in terms of intelligence. Yeah sure it means whoever is a very hard worker, but that's basically the qualifications. It's quite often that the smartest are often not the hardest workers. The girl, a good friend of mine, that is valedictorian at my school this year has applied herself and put forth an effort, but by no means is all that smart (smart, yeah, but no where near being smartest). Her SAT's were in the 1300's.
