dumb.. at least for my suface (wood table) it's just alot smoother and faster on the pad.. and stinky.. pc gamer = toms hardware in my mind.. I am not affected on what one big name mag that has 600 sponsors says. TWL should do a review on pads

You know, optical mice will ruin a table. Mine has rubbed on my keyboard tray. Check it out....

well then i guess I don't have to worry about my table being ruined :/ The only problem is that the ratpadz is so wide.. so it kind of gets in the way.. but that's because I don't have that much room.. but more than gnogtr.. jeez...

Yeah, that's my desk I'm at right now at college. My one at home is much smaller. I don't know how the mouse did that, but it did the same thing to mine at home....

its not really the optical mice that ruins it
any mouse that doesnt have a smooth feet will kind of wear out the surface after a while

i think i need a better mouse after getting this func pad
lol yup, thats how good this mousepad is

im thinking MX700...
does it lag?

since when did you start recieving PC Gamer?

edit: multiple friends of mine have the mx700, and after playing ut2k4 with one, I have to say I was impressed. I have the corded version of it called the mx500.
