If Intel took that processor and stuck their name on it, I bet you'd want to use it.

maybe.. but... irreguardless if they put their name on it it could die if the fan failed like happened to stinkymojo when his mobo and cpu went up in smoke...

Well, most boards shut off if the processor gets too hot (Asus does). Most VIA chipsets offer that option. Trust me, I'm thankful for that option because of all the overclocking and testing I've done. This one time, my old TT Aquarius 2 system's pump shut off and my comp booted (overclocked of course) and I got into Windows and the comp shuts down. I booted into the bios and saw my 60 C+ temp and I immediatly started checking stuff, and I found out that the pump wasn't plugged in properly....
