Oh it kicks @$$!!!! I love it. I can run it very smoothly at 1152x... with settings on high and everything on (no aa, but who cares...). I don't know where all this crap about ATI not running the game came from, I can guarentee that mine runs just as smooth as some nVidia pos, and look just as good. It hasn't been unplayable once! It's worth every penny (I had to dig deep, 2nd day shipping got me....)

I get average 40 fps with my config on 1280x1024, with every advanced option turned off cept vSync and Bump Maps. (Doom 3 looks worthless without bumpmaps) I'm thinking about upgrading to a gig of ram though...

edit: settings are at medium..

I hate sarcasm...As for stinky, I don't know how you can't run it on the settings that I"m running it on...I haven't checked fraps out yet, but it's always been above 30 because I've never noticed a drop at all.

Im not talking abou tocing ANY card with aircooling, just my card. good job that you can oc your card.. Anyone would too with that model, but I am saying not many people oc their 9800 pros with air cooling because they are notorious for hot temps even without ocing.

just because you're the only one on this forum with a 9800 pro and air cooling doesn't mean it can't be OC'd.. you can get a new fan for it anyway if that hot
