nah, thats not the main reason, the main reason for P IV is that ya can raise the fsb up to heavenly frequences and overclock them 1000 or more with very easy voltage mod and decent cooling ;D

I would still like to see the benchmarks of maxed out P-4 and a maxed out Athlon XP. MHx SHMEGAHRz

The P4 would be the winner sadly as it will have an amazingly fast FSB & memory & would have around 1GHz lead bee in mind that the XP would have to be 2.3GHz or so to be tie with it
