Now you're banging on religion?!? Oh come on, it doesn't cloud ppl's minds. If I weren't Christian I probably wouldn't have such good judgement. You saw what happened to Soddam and Gomarah. Let's not let that happen again, they already say that part of California is going to break off and fall into the ocean. This is pushing that.

Let's not roll this topic into one that attacks religion, okay? Everyone has a right to say what they want and feel anyway they want, it's America. But to say all religion is fiction and clouds people's minds, that's pushing the envelope. There is a specific topic we are talking about. Just to attack a religion because someone has one isn't what this thread is about and should be discussed elsewhere. My $.02

Is this country we have something called the separation of church and state, therefore this argument cannot be made against the issue.

I don't see my comment directly making fun of gays and that's not what I meant for those who think that way. I just think that a man and a woman are meant for each other and it just does not seem to make any bit of sense to me for two men or women to get married. Thats just my opinion and I didn't try to be sarcastic or aiming to make fun of gays.

This country was founded by mostly christianity. And they decided to seperate it from state. But how often does that happen? Some of our laws are founded on religion (a few of the commandments [murder, stealing, adultry mainly]). These laws were in place cause these things hurt people. Is gay marriage really hurting anyone? No, it just seems wrong to some people, but it's not really hurting anyone.

That is what I feel too, It doesn't hurt me or affect my life... but when the issue comes up, I just say that it doesn't make sense and I don't support it. I guess you can say I'm neutral.

"Some of our laws are founded on religion (a few of the commandments [murder, stealing, adultry mainly]). These laws were in place cause these things hurt people. "
nevermind religion those things are common sense. murder stealing and adultry will cause uprise in a government no matter what. gay marriage now thats not common sense. why do gays relationships need to be legally embraced?
"Is gay marriage really hurting anyone? No, it just seems wrong to some people, but it's not really hurting anyone."
its not hurting anyone? yeah right if it wasn't hurting anyone gay people wouldn't have an issue would they?
how is it hurting gay people by them not being married in our legal system?
