why not wait till april?
NVIDIA is coming out with NV40
so that means another big price slashing coming up!

so is ATI
i would recommend in buying a 9800 Pro 128mb around april 15 *hint hint*

Thats what I was also thinking evil... Newegg has refurbished 9800 pros for just under $200.

well actually i cant garantee you 150$ for a refurbed 9800 pro on april 15

but it looks it that will happen since NV40 might come out with doom3 so that means ATI will have to slash price to compete before they get the R420 out
even if they do get the R420 out, 9800 pro will be a bit mroe cheaper

just wait 1 more month
you can do it!

yeah MX440 is a decent card for a temporary replacement
or a 8500
