I'm selling it because I would like to get into a 17" Widescreen Laptop.
That pretty much says it all.

Don't under stand what u mean.
All I do is:

With BIOS defaults set on power saving mode and the installation of the speedstep program in windows XP. The P4 processor drops to 1.5ghz or so when on battery, I lower the brightness of the screen and it goes for 2+hours. I have not sat next to it with a stop clock but I've come home and sat on the couch for 2.5hrs (3PM-5:30PM) on the lappy after a long work day....

A second battery module is available on ebay if you need 5 hours....fit on 2nd module bay so you'll have 2 batteries.

Jason...
just short of 3hrs would be about the max. I don't think this battery even "new" could go on longer than 3hrs with the Pentium 4-M onboard.
Ergo the now, new Dell 8600 Centrino line which can hit 4-5hrs on one battery.
