merc.. then why does anyone need to be 'legally embraced' if gays don't?
gay marriage isn't hurting anyone because it isn't happening yet other than SF..
There are lots of advantages to marriage, taxes and otherwise.. what's the big deal either way. juet let em do it especially since it doesn't hurt anyone.

these aren't excuses. if i'm going to vote i want to know why the hell i should allow gays to be married. please tell me which taxes exactly and what real differences it means. i would definately not vote for something just because it doesn't hurt me. if thats your idea of voting i'm ashamed. i have nothing against gay people but whats the advantage in legalizing gay marriage?

couldn't take the 5 seconds to define it for him?

i'm not a lawyer but there are legal benefits for marriage.. like being able to see them in the hospitle.. and besides, it doesn't affect you any. "gays will be gays" :/

first prometheus, that would affect me, i care about my city and education.

i'm not on a stat trip and i'll care about someones rights when you tell me what it does to benefit gay people (by this i mean the laws not what it makes people feel). briefly mentioning taxes isn't enough. i'm trying to go about this logically and you're getting all defensive like i'm being a stat whore? i don't give a shit about stats. look at my post count compaired to yours. i have arguments and you ignore them because you can't answer.
