i have to say that IBM HDDs have been good
until they made the GXP60 and 70

unfortunately i have the GXP60 DEATHSTAR!

oh well after it got partially hosed with the idle problem and started making strange noises, i got myself a seagate 120gb 8mb ATA100 drive
luv it

maybe you should buy stryfe's 5200 for the time
lol

That's not totally true vee_yes, I guess Tom's hardware is biased too:

http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/20031229/index.html

According to them the 9800 XT ownes. My Pro is clocked way over that. I quit Nvidia when the GF4 TI4600 was out. That's the last nVidia card I owned.

right now ATI is owning
but ill have to see how NV4x is going to be like with built-in mpeg 1, 2, 4, encoding/decoding

thatd be interesting to see
its never game over
so im not biased against anyone
but ATI is drawing my interests more with their improvements on their catalyst driver suites

The new ATI engine is on its way out too. I just don't like the way Nvidia is doing things anymore. First they start out with putting a leaf blower onto the market, then they release the FX 5200 that is utter crap because it's expensive for nothing, and then they put cheats in their drivers to bump up 3dmark scores. Now their drivers aren't very good. I disagree with their marketing decisions...

ATI was caught with similar cheating activities too, i read it on the inquirer.net

NVIDIA made many revisions for its cooler design and the final product for 5900 was not noisy at all

Radeon 9200 and 9200 SE is crap too, both companies are playing the same cards

gotta look at both sides of the story

Jason, instead of pretending you know about HD's by start bashing IBM, know that just because someone has a piece of hardware that you dont have doesnt mean that its crap. If you knew anything about IBM hd's, you're know that most of their hard drives before their lawsuit really did their job well and owned. Though because of the lawsuit, Hitachi is making the Deskstars now. lol, throw your comp to the dogs... ya, im pretty sure thats real logical.
