you could actually set up a proxy on a linux box that redirects port 80 to whatever port AIM runs on, then set AIM to run thru your proxy... even better, if your school allows 8080 or 8000, it's a lot more stable. go to http://www.dyndns.org to get a free DNS like bess_sux.homelinux.com and ddclient to automatically update it... it works for IRC on my friend's computer (RedHat 9 box; fwd: 8080>>6667).[/i]

at home you could put the mp3s you want on another website that the filter won't block with a different extension, like mp_ or ex_ then change it when you download them.

Default you morons

you idiots, everytime you post a way around Bess on the internet somebody associated with the company reads it and fixes it so that Bess will block those sites/cgi's so TALK about it in person, if you spread it online it will eventually become useless

goto http://babelfish.altavista.com/ translate spanise to english
and for the url to translate put http://babelfish.altavista.com/babel...?lp=en_es&url= then your url at the end. this will translate the page to spanish and back to english. It gets around web sence on mine, and i can read the page. i hope this works for you.
