Default Opening installations

I went to install Quicktime7 and the confirmation window asking the user if they want to install showed up. I accidentally unchecked the "always ask...." button. Is there a way to get that window to show up again? Because I don't want random spyware or programs to automatically install itself onto my computer with my confirmation.

im guessing your using Internet Exploer, go to Tools > Internet options > security > Trusted sites > sites > and add the site to the list, i thinki that will do it.

Oh no I mean like after saving the .exe file for the installation, the confirmation window showed asking if it's okay for windows to install the program or not and I accidentally unchecked the button for "Always ask this option blah blah" and then the rest was from there. Downloading the installations from the net, I'm okay with, it's just the installation part that I want to know about.
