Default FIC A95P Radeon 9500 Pro Review

Edward has posted a review of FIC's Radeon 9500 Pro graphics card. Let's take a look.

"The advent of the ATI Radeon 9700 propelled ATI into their current state of close competition with their adversary Nvidia. With initial retail prices of up to $400, the Radeon 9700 offered the fastest 3D gaming performance. However, ATI left a void in their product line. This has all changed now with the introduction of the ATI Radeon 9500 and Radeon 9500 Pro."

Nice review. The 9500 Pro is a good card, especially now that prices are falling due to the intro of 9600 and 9800. I would personally recommend the 9500 non-pro, with the memory in an L config on the PCB, as this one can be modded with RivaTuner to obtain close to 9700 marks.

3.0ns chips can only be overclocked to 300mhz?!?!?!
Lame! How come you didn't comment on this? I'm curious why the overclock was so poor....
