Epson LabelWorks LW-400 Label Printer Review

 epson

Summary and Conclusion:

The LW-400 Epson LabelWorks feels like a well constructed unit and works as advertised. It has enough flexibility in use and built in features to ensure its continued use by anyone or company that buys it. Aside from the staggering SIX batteries required to operate the LW-400 its a very nice product. Although the Users Guide does not endorse the use of rechargeable batteries, we have a feeling they would work regardless. In its price range of $39.99 nothing on the market comes close in terms of features and ease of use. Other comparable label printers are both more expensive, larger, and not as easy to use.

Epson has put together an excellent combo for a buyer seeking a label maker with a low price tag and great set of features. Like all printer Epson makes its profit selling the tapes which can range from $17 to $21 a cartridge. Keep this in mind when purchasing but also know that the situation is the same for just about all label printers.

All things considered the LW-400 is an excellent product with no downsides that operates very well. We gladly recommend this product if you are in the market for a good label printer.
