PCMark Vantage

PCMark Vantage is a canned benchmark that is meant to give fair comparisons between overall systems. As you can see in the pictures below, both scores are evenly matched coming in with a difference of about 200 PCMark points.

SiSoft Sandra – Multimedia

The difference between the two modules  show yet again in the mutltimedia test. The performance figures for the E350N-USB3 are 15 MPix/s while the JNC98 delivered 17 MPix/s.

SiSoft Sandra – Arithmetic

The results of this benchmarks proved very surprising to me. The Arithmetic benchmark is test that is mostly used to evaluate the performance of the processor. It follows that the Intel’s Atom processor with the speed of 1.8 GHz would faster than AMD’s E-350 processor with the speed 1.6 GHz E-350. That was not the case, however. The E350N outperformed the JNC98 by a significant margin, computing 8.48 GOPS compared 7.36 GOPS respectively. This translates into a 13% performance margin between the machines.
