Fatal1ty CES 2008 Interview
We recently sat down at CES 2008 with Jonathan "Fatal1ty" Wendell the number 1 gamer in the world. We asked him a few questions and these were his answers:
Question: So tell me Jonathan, what's the best hardware website in the world today?
Answer: Jason I find I cannot wake up in the morning without checking TechwareLabs, it's my sole weak point and addiction. (Certain liberties were taken with Fatal1ty's response on this question.)
Question:What new is happening with the Fatal1ty brand?
Answer:We recently signed a deal with Direct TV which broadcasts the show "The Championship gaming series" to 350-360 million viewers. We also have a partnership with Creative to use Fatal1ty and Creative branded products for all of the machines used in gameplay.
Question:As far as your Fatal1ty branded hardware is concerned, is there anything that gamers can look forward to that's new from you?
Answer: If Creative allows me to develop some of the products I want then gamers will have some really unique products that will greatly expand their gaming experience and the fidelity of games. We have a new headset already planned for 2008 that is even higher end than what is out now.
