Synaptic Package Manager
Synaptic is a graphical package management program. It can be used for many things, listed below; it is also an alternative to the command line apt-get.

How to access Synaptic Package Manager:
- Click System – Administration – Synaptic Package Manager

- You will be prompted for an administrative password

- And that’s all, you have now opened Synaptic Package Manager
