Computex 2005 (Day 3)

Author:  Keefe John
Date:  2005.06.03
Topic:  Trade Shows
Provider:  Computex
Manufacturer:  Various

With Computex now in full swing we are beginning to see some emerging trends among the manufacturers here. Smaller, Faster, and more Bling Bling seems to be a trend among the manufacturers in Taipei. The conference hall looks like an arcade gallery of lights and action.

-Booth Babes Continued
-Shuttle Booth and Night Party
-Gigabyte Factory Tour
-DFI Booth
-Random Madness from Day 3

As promised, our Computex 2005 booth showgirl coverage continues.  Today's ladies are brought to you by AMD, Apogee, Nvidia, and ATI.  The employing hardware companies seem to really enjoy the plastic clothing look.  Nothing says performance like 100% plastic scantily-clad outfits.  While these girls have the tough job of standing around or walking the floor while demonstrating products and having to pose for the occasional picture, don't let their innocence fool you.  Most of these so-called "Booth Babes" are actually professional models making $8,000 NT ($250 USD) or more a day.  As one hardware company sales manager stated, "Our showgirls make more in a week here than I make in an entire month."
