Thermaltake is at it again with a new and improved MaxOrb CPU cooler, the MaxOrb EX. We previously reviewed the MaxOrb and found it to be one of the best coolers we've tested to date. Lets see how much of an improvement there is by compairing it to the previous MaxOrb.

Aside from the obvious difference that the original MaxOrb was constructed with aluminum fins and the new MaxOrb EX has a copper fin construction there is not much that separates the two. We expect the MaxOrb EX will outperform the original is both idle and load temperatures as copper does a better job of conducting heat. Let's drive in and see how the MaxOrb EX stands up.
