Conclusion

Conclusion - Simply The Best

If you're an iPod user and you want the best music player money can buy, then look no further than the iFi from Klipsch. No other system has ever produced such amazing sound quality out of our Apple iPod. The iFi may not look as sleek as the recently reviewed Bose SoundDock or JBL On Stage iPod music player but what the iFi lose in fancy industrial design it more than makes up for with out of this world sound quality.

In addition to being the best iPod music system, the Klipsch iFi also makes a great 2.1 computer speaker system thanks the line level input found at the back of the subwoofer. As a matter of fact, the iFi is the best 2.1 computer speaker system we've heard to date.

The only thing we like to see is the ability to hook up the control dock to the PC so we can sync the iPod to the computer. That would make the iFi near perfect. The other thing we like to see is a lower price. Don't get us wrong, we feel the iFi is worth the $400 Klipsch is asking for it but, no matter how you slice it, $400 is a lot of money to pay for any iPod speaker system. If the price don't scare you then by all means head down to your local Klipsch dealer and pick up a set.

Another way to listen to the Klipsch iFi is to head to New York’s trend-setting Hotel Gansevoort or Miami’s premiere boutique hotel, The Catalina. Both hotels stock their swank suites with Klipsch iFi systems and offer guests the option of buying the system, and occasionally bid their celebrity guests adieu with the Klipsch iFi system, compliments of the hotel. If only we were all celebrities.
