Labtec Spin-55 Speakers

Reviewed by Shadrach 02.25.2003

Special thanks to the people of Labtec for supplying this hardware

The Labtec Spin-55 speakers do not claim to be the greatest speakers in the world, but they definitely fit in a niche market. Not everyone can afford or wants a $350 set of top-of-the-line speakers to blow their heads off. As home computer construction becomes a far reaching hobby, some components become less "standard". Speakers no longer need be left off the list. If your looking for an inexpensive source of sound for your computer, these speakers definitely fit the bill. Will you get studio quality sound reproduction? Definitely not, but it will be better than listening to the crickets chirp when you surf the web.

Features:

  • Bass port allows air to move freely for bigger bass and fuller sound
  • Headphone jack for convenient hook-up
  • Easily accessible volume control and on/off switch
  • Compact, stylish grey design looks great on your desk
  • Built-in cable storage eliminates excess cable clutter
  • Power adapter included -- no batteries needed

Specifications:

  • Total power output:  2 watts RMS (1W + 1W)
  • System frequency response:  80Hz - 18kHz
