Gigabyte Poseidon 310

Silence is Golden

Something I really liked about this case was how quiet it was. With the side window installed, I could barely hear the machine until I started up a game, and even then the machine was quiet. This of course can vary depending on several factors such as the graphics card and heatsink (I had an ATI Radeon 4850 and a ThermalTake Max Orb), but the stock fans are silent none the less.

Conclusion

All-in-all, the Gigabyte Poseidon 310 is a great mid-tower. I was very impressed with it's tool-less design, and especially it's quiet operation. The cramped installation was only a minor setback which could definitely be avoided with a smaller heatsink. I was very pleased with this case's appearance; it's sleek, black aluminum front just screams beauty. The ThermalTake Max Orb's solid construction, silent operation, and tool-less design make it a great case for the enthusiast looking for style, and at about $130 it'd be a very worthwhile purchase.
