Since the Survivor flash drive is not an actual disk, we ran HD Tach 3.0.1.0 for the mere sake of testing the burst speed and CPU utilization. The burst speed was recorded to be 24.4MB/sec.

Analysis:

The average read speed between the benchmarks came out to 23.3 MB/sec, which is not bad for a high capacity flash device such as this. The write speed came out to an average of 8.36 MB/sec, which isn't horrible either. According to HD Tach, CPU utilization was only 6%, which causes a nearly unnoticeable change in your PC's performance.
