Albatron PX845PEV Pro Motherboard
Review by Navid Mortezaei on 02.11.2003

Conclusion:
Throughout the use of this motherboard and while testing it, we didn't notice alot of cons in this board. However we did notice alot of pros such as features like H-T, USB 2.0, IrDA and etc. The Albatron PX45PEV Pro is in the market for about $90 US. That is a very good price for a motherboard, however one noticable feature that sets this motherboard apart from others is that you get a lot more than you pay for.

Like usual, Albatron motherboards were made for overclocking, and this board isn't an exception. It has very good overclocking features that will let you overclock to the max. And albatron has made overclocking easy for all the beginners in the DIY market out there. It teaches you how to overclock in the manual!

Pros:

  • Price
  • Overclocking features
  • Performance

Cons:

  • No active cooling on Northbridge
  • DIMMs to close to AGP slot
  • FDD connector badly positioned

Rating: 9/10
