Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R

Introduction:

Not everyone needs, or can afford, a super high end motherboard. Most people can get by just fine with a midrange board that offers decent overclocking capabilities. This is why Gigabyte offered us the GA-EP45-DS3R for review, and we graciously accepted. With features such as dual 10/100/1000 ethernet ports, enhanced power saving features and 6 SATA ports puts this board as a nice option for a home theater PC, but soud support the needs of any average user. Supporting the P45 and ICH10R chipset, allowing it to run all of the latest Core 2 processors. Does this board have what it takes to stand above the other midrange motherboards and possibly earn itself an award? Read on to find out.
