In this test, the Raptor outperformed all of the other hard drives in terms of seek times. The Raptor seek times are almost half that of the Samsung hard drive. The faster the seek time, the faster the hard drive can locate the information.

Similarly to the results of the Sisoft sandra test, we can see that the Raptor loses to the Samsung in the transfer rates but makes up for it in the seek times. Another thing that I noticed while performing this test is that, contrary to the Samsung, the Raptor hard drive showed little or no fluctuation during this test. This could greatly contribute to stability of the system if you are planning on overclocking.
