Forsa Geforce FX 5200

Review by Jason Jacobs on 12.30.03
Power Supply Provided by Forsa

The Forsa Geforce FX 5200:

The 5200 comes packaged with a driver disk, installation and use manual, the Video card, and an Svid to phono adapter. Missing is the optional DVI to VGA adapter but then this is a budget card. Having a DVI output is not always available on the budget end of cards and its a welcome addition which separates this card from others and should be considered when making a purchase as LCD monitors that accept DVI are becoming increasingly popular.

Installation of the 5200 was quite simple and it was pleasant to note that the size and orientation of the capacitors and heatsink will not interfere with anthing surrounding the AGP slot.

Whats under the hood you might ask?

In use the card was nearly silent during all testing and gaming. The heatsink did not get hot and only remained slightly warm during all use.

On to the testing:
