ATI

ATI Private Meeting Room

We were somewhat disappointed that ATI did not open their meeting room to the media or public until Friday since Harry and I were leaving Comdex Thursday night. From what we could see, there was nothing unusual or new at ATI. ATI was proudly showing off their performance crown winning Radeon 9700 Pro running cool graphic demos. Other products on display included All-in-Wonder Radeon 9700s and the ATI-powered Nintendo Gamecube. Behind the reception desk, ATI sports the colors of their third-party supporters and a list of ATI products. Few people know of ATI's Imageon and Xilleon product line. The Imageon is ATI's PDA graphic chipset, which is currently found in Toshiba's e740 PDA. And the Xilleon integrates into a single chip all processor, graphics, video, audio, and I/O capabilities needed in a set-top box or digital TV. The Xilleon is more commonly known as a system-on-chip.
