Shuttle always likes to impress the crowds at Computex 2005 with their newest
products and technologies. This year Shuttle managed to get
product/signage placement just about everywhere around the show. The press
center was outfitted with forty Shuttle SB691G2 XPC systems and ultra portable
XP17 17" Tough Temp LCDs. At the Shuttle suite many products were
being showcased, here are a few pictures of the most exciting things that
Shuttle was displaying.

Pictured is the new Shuttle 20 inch widescreen LCD, which
follows the footsteps of the XP17. The new 20" widescreen model uses
the same anti-glare tempered glass as the XP17, which is extremely
durable. Perhaps the most impressive feature of this model is its low 8 ms
response time, making this a gamers dream lcd. While the monitor uses
similar design and construction to maintain its durability and portability, the convenient
carrying handle was removed from this model.

SLI and Crossfire seemed to be everyone's favorite new
technologies at Computex 2005. Almost all of the big players had some sort
of SLI or Crossfire demo running. Shuttle's SLI offering is based on a new
XPC model with dual PCI-E slots. The model is not currently available, but
we are told it should be released within one to two months. Shuttle is
still deciding whether or not they will be including two SLI based video cards
with the unit or if it will be a complete barebones.
Later that evening Shuttle wined and dined all of their
customers, friends, and media guests. The festivities included an elegant
asian style buffet, Spanish clap dancers, fire dancers, cover-band, and a beer
drinking contest.
