Help microsoft wireless optical mouse 2.0 battery drain

Help. I just installed a microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse and after one day it looks like my mouse battery is already draining. It seems to stay on continuously., flickering. I saw one review on here http://www.techwarelabs.com/reviews/...less_desktop2/ where the mouse flickers to go to sleep but mine just keeps on flickering.

Any help on how to get this mouse to shut down without removing the batteries would be much appreciated.[/url]

you can't.. that's the price of buying cheaper mice.. my advice is to get rechargable batteries
