does anybody know if the alpha cooler fits the soyo? i´m currently assembling a system for a friend and he would prefer this combination.so i got some pics of the soyo and now i´m not sure if the 8cm with heatsink will fit because some capacitors near the socket could interfere. if you got the combo running or have seen a link or thread anywhere related to this, please post. thanx

I don't know for sure, but it looks extremely close to me. Is the DIMM next to the proc DIMM 1 or DIMM 3? If it's 3, then you might have some more extra space on that side.

Got my tape measure out

you are looking at an 85mm clearance between the capacitors and Dimm3

Once my silverado is in place I have 10mm clear on the capactors side and 15mm on the Dimm3 side.

Need more measurements give me a shout
