Default xp home registry crash

I have an unusual problem in my xp home registry, there is a file in there which if I click on , causes a complete shut down of the pc instantly !
the file is HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-20\software\policies\microsoft\system certificares\trust. I therefore cannot see what is inside so am a bit stuck as to what to do. am not sure if it will allow me to delete without crashing but I cant find any reference to this file any where on the net. I have also looked on various other pc's with xp home installed and this folder is empty. does anyone know if deleting it (if possible) will cause any problems? because obviously it can be recreated afetrwards without any values inside .
If it helps I can also crash the pc by going to system imformation\software enviroments\ singed drivers .
Hope someone can help

ps is there a programme that just lets you veiw registry folders ?
