Default Re: The Legal Movement Against Spam

You know in the spam arena there is just no way to please everyone.

I work for a local ISP and we do our best to block SPAM where ever possible.

When we do sometimes this can affect other aspects of getting normal mail as well.

So with all the ins n outs people screamed they would rather get their mail along with spam than have a few emails not get through.

We were subscribed to lists that basically block mail from anyone who is considered (well is) an open relay. You wouldn't believe how many mail servers are wide open.

Anyhow enough bable. I am all for shutting down spammers, at when the old fashioned junk mail showed up in the mail box on the side of the street it gave you something to light your camp fires with. Cant do much with email SPAM just wont light.
