I picked up a Vantec CCK-6040H and am really unhappy with the quality of the Cooling. My xp2000+ would only go up to 143 mhz and under load was running ~52c. I am getting a Hedgehog type W with 2 fans on it to try out. We'll see how that goes, hopefully better. also- do you think P/S could effect stability/overclocking very much? mine is an enermax 330w its pretty nice, I think... it has dual fans and all... any ideas why I can't get my board above 143 stable? (besides heat)

What are you running for ram and board..?? Also try out the heat pipe #hcc-001 mine works awsome.

Corsair XMS3200 256meg CL2.5 in 32x8 config. (with heatspreader)

hmmmm... your system is running very hot for overclocking, what kind and size of case do you have it in..? My 2100+ overclocked at 1810mhz only runs an average of 37C.

the PSU is good enough for the job

hedgehoge might not do the job properly
and it is often loud

i really suggest swiftech's MCX462 if you have the bling bling

also you would probably want to get the temp under 50c before doing any overclocking

and voltage should be added to provide more stability
but this is a very dangerous task
do some research before you do anything
and dont come back and complain that your CPU died
because i gave you a warning that this is very dangerous
and can damage your CPU permanantly

do some research
and go to the CPU Database in http://www.overclockers.com for a start
it will give you an idea what settings and setup ppl are doing with their 2000+
