Well, there maybe enough AS left around the pins to be causing the problems
So flushing it out with a little "Goof-Off" (xylene base solvent) to rinse the AS away, then Isopropyl Alchol to rinse that off (swish it around in a shallow pan dump it out, repeat) Outside, no smoking Please!
then allow that to air dry ( till alchol smell is gone) and then bake the card a a vey low temp to remove any remining water that may have soaked in from the Alchol, you must keep it below 150ºf, even lower if it has plastic parts (you should remove all you can before using the goof off) a hair dryer on very low might work too.
when you sure it's clean and dry, give it a try.
This may or may not save the card, and there's always some risk of frying something else. but for $10-15 dollars and a few hours (mostly waiting for it to dry, and making sure no one turns on the broiler), it might save you replacing it.
