At the Macworld Expo
At the Macworld expo, Steve Jobs held a seminar where he had a 2-hour keynote speech during the opening of the expo. He revealed some of their new sleeker looking PowerBooks, with faster wireless network connections.
"We are going to do for the digital lifestyle applications what Microsoft Office did for productivity applications," Jobs said as he demonstrated a series of updates to Apple's media programs such as iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie and iDVD which will bring a magnitude of new customers into the Mac world.
