New Speakers for the A7N8X/dx, Need a bit of help!

Yea, the green is r & l front, black is rear l & r, amber is center and bass. The only problem is when connected to Soundstorm with the mobo.
The Black can be disconnected and the test still says R SS & L SS.
So the sound is coming from the front speakers, not the rear speakers.
I can attach a amplified set of speakers to the out for the R SS and turn up the volume, the speakers are quite loud.
So there is sound coming out the port where this black cable is plugged into.
Why does the sound not come out the speakers?
When having the sound card installed the sound comes from the rear speakers fine?

and the way mobo jacks are setted up

right now im looking at the jumpers on the board for some solutions

Well mine is correct in L f & R f, center channel and bass is good. The rear channel's or speakers do nothing.
I can have a piece of music playing and move my chair back to the rear speakers, Nothing is coming out.
When sitting directly in front of the computer screen, it dows sound like the SS r & SS l is playing at the level the rear speakers could be easily be heard.
If you move towards these speakers they ae non existant, as far as sound is concerned.

check the jumpers on your mobo
make sure that RL and RR pins are shorted (closed)
they should be by default but just check for sure

Where would these jumpers be? I was under the impression this mobo is basically jumper free? I don't see any jumpers listed in the owners manual about this. I guess I need someone to draw a picture for me.

The A7N8X/dx has 6 outlets total, it may have the jumpers but they are not mentioned in the manual. To connect with my mobo, use the green plug in the bottom row, then use the upper two of the three for rear and center bass. It is just these speakers only have the three plugs but for some reason the rear speakers are not deployed.

also try Sound's Advanced Control for Master Volume

just double click on the sound icon on your tastbar
then click on advanced and fool around in there

Maybe I took the easy way for this fix.
I installed the Sound Card I have had for several months.
All the channels are working and the rear and bass are as loud as anyone would want.
The control panel easily adjusts the sound in all the speakers.
I just can't justify spending untold hours on this problem.
